Share something vegan with a non-vegan.
For my birthday, we enjoyed Greens Restaurant in San Francisco. The non-vegans were pleasantly surprised by the grilled fig salad, white bean soup, stuffed poblano peppers, and handmade ravioli but especially by dessert. Homemade peach sorbet with peach torte, almost flourless chocolate cake with caramel ice cream, strawberry cobbler and a trio of sorbets: blackberry, strawberry and coconut.
One of my birthday gifts was an ice cream maker, so I am planning to make a variety of vegan non-dairy frozen desserts. Check back soon.
